BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ANALYTICS PROGRAM
Nexus University’s Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics teaches students to lead their organization’s big data objectives through data management and statistical analysis. Students using sophisticated data analysis software will solve complex and multidimensional business problems. The students will acquire the knowledge, understanding, skills, and hands-on experience to become a data architect and senior leader.
Degree Requirements
Students must complete 60 lower division credit hours, which includes 42 general education credit hours, plus 60 upper division credit hours for a total of 120 credit hours.
Program Objectives
Upon completing the Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics, a student should have certain competencies or have met the learning objectives. The learning objectives of the Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics are as follows:
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of popular data analysis software.
- Function as a subject matter expert in data analysis projects.
- Create data analysis programs to find solutions to their organizations’ data problems.
- Create data analysis reports for their organizations recommending solutions to their data problems.
- Effectively communicate their data analysis findings to their organizations.
- Serve as an advocate of solid data analysis design and ethical practice within their organizations.

Admission Requirements
- High school graduates from an institution that holds state approval to confer high school diplomas or are accredited or a candidate for accreditation at the time the student attended by an approved USDOE accrediting body or GED certificate.
- Students with a foreign earned HS diploma or transferring credits from a foreign institution of higher education must have their credential and/or courses validated, translated and certified by a NACES approved agency.
- Students must submit current government issued identification.
- Submit application with $25 fee.
- All non-native English speakers are required to submit official TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (Internal English Language Testing System) results:
- • TOEFL - Must score a minimum of 70 on the IBT (Internet Based test).
- • IELTS – Must score 6.5 or better overall.

Nexus University’s Bachelor of Science: Business Administration Program (BSBA) is designed to prepare graduates with the necessary knowledge, skills, and values to effectively function as an effective and ethical business leader through the application of business best practices, research and technological tools. The BSBA foundation is designed to cover the applicability of theories to the real-world in areas of finance, marketing, information systems, research methodologies, economics, business law, management, and accounting.

- All non-native English speakers who are taking the English version of this program are required to submit official TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (Internal English Language Testing System) results*:

*This criterion doesn't apply to applicants who are taking the Online Spanish version of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. The online Spanish version of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program is not available to International Students on a F-1 visa. The English version is only offered on-ground and not online. International Students on a F-1 visa are only elegible to enroll in the English on-ground version of the program.

MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The Master of Business Administration offers an intensive graduate program that educates students in theories and practices of the modern business world. The MBA program fosters independent learning and enables students to contribute intellectually to the business profession. All MBA students must complete a core graduate coursework in valuable areas such as accounting, finance, organizational behavior, marketing, operations and strategy. Graduates will critically analyze and solve business problems through strong analysis of data and integration of a wide range of business acumen.
MBA students have the option to select one of the two advanced areas of study, and these are:
Business Analytics
In the Business Analytics Advanced Area, students will acquire a strong understanding of the basic concept of business analytics. Students will be exposed to a comprehensive overview of the field of business analytics; students will learn about data mining, statistical modeling, and media analytics. The students will gain a solid understanding of the key tools to solve supply chain management issues.
Global Business
In the Global Business Advanced Area, students will acquire a strong understanding of the basic concepts of global business. Students will learn about the theory and practical application of international manufacturing and trade. The students will learn how to create synergy between the international marketing strategies and business strategies. The students will gain a solid understanding of how global logistics has an immediate impact of global supply chain management.

Degree Requirements
Students must complete the MBA with the core courses (30 credits) plus three approved elective courses (9 credits) from the advanced study areas, for a total of 39 graduate semester credit hours.
Program Objectives
The MBA program enables students to contribute to the business profession and fosters independent learning. Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Solve business issues through the application of analytical skills.
- Create strategies through the application of research that will enable an organization to achieve its mission and vision in a dynamic business environment.
